the sleepover-ers slept til 7 and played happily til their parents arrived with chat and muffins. i played football in the street with the young males and did a triumphant bit of skip dipping from the refurb going on at our new neighbours' house. i wonder if they'll come round one day and recognise the two door knobs. lovely bit of 50's cut glass. impossible to photograph.

took the kids swimming in the afternoon although am still sling-bound. ended up with me getting cold and getting in to my pjs nice and early.
