If I was a better housekeeper or, more to the point, had time to be a better housekeeper, I would probably have got rid of this cobweb which, along with a couple of others, hang between the bars of the window the cats use to come in and out.

But I haven't removed them, partly because since moving to Symi, I've become a bit Buddhist about killing things (except ants and cockroaches) and also because the spiders are so small (smaller than the head of match) that even Tallulah the Huntress, who usually attacks anything that moves, can't be bothered with them.

So, here it is. Not quite as splendid as it was this morning with the sun shining through it, causing a kind of prism effect but still rather nice I think.
