One of the Character Faces by Messerschmidt. The story goes like this: he went "crazy" at the end of his life and bought a house in Bratislava and tortured himself. After he would do so, he would scrunch up his face and sculpt it. There are a ton of these sculptures in the Belvedere. He didn't want anyone to ever see them and tried to drown them in a river, but they were recovered. I don't know how I feel about it.
