Mathew has a fondness for hats. Whenever he's out drinking, he likes to bring back 'souvenirs' and new headgear is always a preference. This particular article came home from 'lava lounge' in Cardiff a few years ago. It's one of those places that's for people who should know better - the sad variety of of late thirties/early forties people who haven't realised they're not twenty any more. One such couple were cavorting in a booth. I think she was on a hen night, and he was just on the pull... either way before long they headed for the dance-floor... we headed for the door... but Mathew made a Diversion to pinch the cowgirl hat that she'd clearly forgotten she'd put down while being groped by Captain Sleezeball.
