Cozy Up

A blip to describe a moment in my day.

I am on a Nicholas Sparks run after just finishing his book, "Dear John". The ending left me conflicted. I love a good love story and this particular book was just that, but I was conflicted with the ending. I knew it was the appropriate ending, but it left me wanting more of the story. So I am totally straying from my book club list (again) and have started another of his books. Another love story full of tender moments but again, a degree of complexity. I saw this movie years ago but never read the book.

Late this afternoon, I started the book, "The Notebook", while my daughter was napping and my boys were out and about together. A cozy time indeed with the fire going and my favorite blanket keeping my feet warm. I promised myself that I would blip the boots today because it would be a bit rude of me if I didn't after dedicating an entire journal to them yesterday......but I ran out of natural light. And I need natural light for my 'blipping the sweet boots' shot that I have in mind. Tomorrow. I brought them to the gym to show the girls. Fans. And then the three of us had a group hug in the parking lot, laughing at ourselves for it. But hey, group hugs are important amongst friends, no?! I say 'YES'.
