House guests

Today is the one-year anniversary of my moving into my 'new house'.

My flatmate, Est, gave me a red current plant to celebrate. Just trying to decide where to put it. I have no idea what sort of conditions they like. What a kind and thoughtful gesture.

This little moth (along with pretty much all of his friends) spent the night in relative comfort in my kitchen. Pio has been running around, catching them. Cousteau does his fair share too. Though he is somewhat less elegant in his methods than Pio is.

I like his beady eye.

Today was a hot day with lots of scratchy kids and teachers.

An evening with friends tonight at my place. Even Cousteau's sister, Lenci, is coming for a sleepover.
