Proud Mama

My son had his first choir concert tonight. He loved every minute of it. He is in a community choir called the Rogue Valley Children's Choir with 40-some other 5th and 6th graders. I was a charter member of this group when it first started 18 years ago.

I love that he is learning to use his voice - I think everyone should be encouraged to sing - not as a performer, but for the sheer joy of one-of-a-kind personal expression.
