Aquamarine/Nanna K's Day

More art

I know this is sort of a weird blip. I took these 3 photos today (the lamp, the green cylinder and the colored pencils and put them together in PS because I didn't really like any one all that much and I had just been to an art exhibit called "Remix" where the artists all used images from lots of different media and remade them into something else. so I was "inspired" to play a bit. (but not too much). The elliptical cylinder is the outside of James Turrell's "skyspace" at the Henry Art Gallery in Seattle (Inside there is an elliptical opening to the sky so you can sit on a beautiful wood bench around the ellipse and see the sky without seeing anything else.) The outside has changing colored lights at night (and stripes!). The lamp was my mother's - made in Paris around 1900. And the colored pencils are, well, colored stripes.
