The beginning

Every year my big kids (I have six 25-12), gather their international friends and local friends for a pre-Thanksgiving party they call Thanksgathering. Two days prior, there is a baking marathon, shopping and the best thing is...they do it all themselves! I can literally stay out of the kitchen and go about my own daily business and then enjoy the party when it happens.

Here are the first two pies, both apple crumb. There are pumpkin, blueberry, shoofly, and more on the menu.
