Same Tree
This is the same tree that I blipped on 9th April this year. Then, it was covered in blossom, now it's just hanging on to its last few leaves before the winter arrives.
It got me thinking about the seasons, and how we take them for granted in places that have them. I remember being fascinated by the Equatorial rain forests while watching David Attenborough (my not-so-secret secret crush!!) as a kid, when I learnt that they had no seasons and therefore things flowered all year round! Wow!
Today was very much the day after I got home from Wales. I did a little sorting in the house and then spent most of the day with Scharwenka, catching up on news, having lunch, and doing a little shopping together. This tree is in his garden, so I took the opportunity to photograph it!
The Wonderspouse got home at 9.30 after a reading evening, so it was another latish night!
