It was starlings galore today in the garden & a huge flock flew over at sunset, easily 500 birds - I really need to find out where they're roosting! We usually do get quite a few this time of year, but I've never seen so many in the air nor in fact in my garden! I counted 62 individuals on the ash tree by the front of the house, all singing merrily away in the daylight, what a gorgeous noise! Plus they do so well, we never clap our hands to see them off, all birds are welcome to eat from the seeders & the starlings really do take centre stage!
