Ham Wall

After seeing Joan's fabulous picture the other day I decided to find out where I could see this phenomenon. Turns out Ham Wall (strange name but it turns out that it really is a great big wall made of ham - delicious) was only half an hour from where I was working. So I sped over there this afto. There are about a million starlings come to roost in the reed beds. They didn't throw many shapes this evening unfortunately - but even so it is a spectacular sight and sound. I'm going back on Monday - with a trowel and some mustard.
