A different perspective

We're watching an episode of "New Tricks" on blu ray when I realize one of the characters is none other than an aged seasoned Mike Gambit.

It's Mike Gambit!!, I declare.

Er, who's Mike Gambit, asks Mr. M.

You know, Mike Gambit from The New Avengers; John Steed, Purdey, that Mike Gambit. Don't you remember the show?, I ask.

I do but I don't remember Mike Gambit, he says.

Well I do, I say; every last detail. It was my favorite show when I was around sixteen. There were so many Purdey haircuts in my school that you almost couldn't tell the blonde girls apart. How can you not remember smouldering Mike Gambit?

Well, I remember Purdey, he replies.
