Orange crush

It's a bit early to be thinking about Christmas, but I couldn't help it today when I bit into one of these oranges. My parents used to always include a tangerine or an orange in our Christmas stockings - just so we'd eat something healthy on an otherwise chocolate-filled day, I thought. But eventually I found out that, to them - poor wee ration-starved nippers who were born during the Second World War - oranges will for ever represent an exotic treat for festive occasions.
