Driftwood

The habit of collecting bits and pieces while out walking bears fruit today. This piece of driftwood followed me home from a walk on the beach in mid summer. Honest!, I shooed it away several times but it wouldn't go away so I had to adopt it.
Just as well really since I needed something to shoot today. It's a rather dark and murky day and I haven't much inclination to venture out into the murk. Besides the rugger is on the box with Scotland giving the South Africans a bit of a lesson as I write, and Ireland going to their doom against the All Blacks later on.
