Under the arches at the old mill

Even if the Akerselva river cannot match the size and worldwide reputation of the Thames and Mississippi, the 8,2 kilometres stream of water is an important source to recreation to at least 200.000 of the Oslo inhabitants. Passing the dwellings of Nydalen, Sagene and Grünerløkka, people who walk along the shores, also can visit a lot of coffee shops, pubs and restaurants.
