Lights go on

They turned on the Christmas lights down town - there were some fireworks and I think some singing. However due to a slight problem with children finding shoes, coats, fleeces etc, we saw the fireworks from the top deck of the bus, and missed the band.

Still - not a bad night - not too cold, lots of people about. I looked at a specialist coffee stall, but none of them took my fancy. Lots of arts and crafts - but about 20 deep in people. We came home and had baked potatoes and sticky chicken in maple syrup marinade.
