Hope

I feel like the weather - foggy, dreary, unwanted, gray
There is a single light on in this photo.
And it shows brightly through the weather.

Last night, I needed this light really badly.
I needed someone to care and to shine through the storm.
And it didn't happen.
And so, I left. I did not want to, but no one stopped me.
That hurt.
