That's not entertainment

I don't think I have apologised here before but I feel I might have to. Oh boy I do adhere to the license fee paying masses, probably more than most, I do believe in charitable enterprise for those who have less or who are misfortunate, I also adhere to the ability to spot talent, so why do I object so strongly to a couple of things on the television in the last 24 hours.

We don't really do much television, last night I suggested watching a certain charity marathon, poor choice, I am really not into this sort of entertainment, I don't wish to be a cynic, it just ain't my thing. Tonight, we are treated to some programme that ressembles an excuse for people to make lots of money on the backs of wannabe stars, 'buy tickets now!', nae chance!

So somehow when good sentiment is turned into a televisual commodity, like millions of others, I should always switch off.

A miserable day, weather wise, so we needed a fire at home.
