Batting again...

Yes, I do spend my whole life watching kid cricket in the summer!
I cant really complain, as I get to play with my camera, and mostly sit in the sunshine watching so not a very strenuous activity for the parents. Is however not often relaxing as their is tension, drama and theatrics all the time at this level and age group, so plenty of parenting wisdom, advice and comforting needed on a regular basis. It is a sport of extreme highs and lows. Cruel and abrupt when it all goes wrong batting, torturous and endless when bowling and fielding goes against you. Plenty of life lessons to be learnt.
Ah well, is a beautiful city and wonderful parks to sit in while watching so it cant all be bad!
