let there be light...

and there was light (but only after buying a new set of lights as the set i bought last year mysteriously broke whilst safely stored in the attic)

When we first moved in here one of the first things the neighbours asked was if i liked christmas lights,my answer was that apart from the Griswolds heroic efforts i think they are generally crappy.i was then told that i needed to keep the first sunday of december free for the annual putting upping of the street lights. and thats what we did today.

It may not be on a par with Clark Griswolds light show but it does make the street a wee bit prettier...
