heading up to michigan avenue to knock out some of the christmas shopping tonight. i took a short cut through the park and found this statue of some guy that i'd never seen before. he's simply "some guy" due to the fact that the plaque which would normally have given me that information was missing -stolen assumably. when he was placed here, he probably had a nice view of the lake, but after various land reclamation projects and the construction of lakeshore drive he only has a view of the highway. sorry guy.
