Sick Sucks

Elizabeth had a fab time with her grandparents, but as soon as we picked her up she went downhill.

We had planned to go straight into the city, have lunch, then start shopping for 9-12 month clothes, some crawling toys, some shoes and a new swimming costume. We got as far as lunch. At the end, Elizabeth got really upset. While cuddling her, she ended up falling asleep on me... in the middle of a busy and noisy food court! She slept there for about half an hour, then woke up crying and couldn't be consoled.

We just went back to the car and drove home. She slept while we walked to the car, slept while in the car and probably had about 2 hours sleep in total.

She woke up very grumpy. I think she was really suffering with her cold. She got some calpol, and about 30 minutes later she was much happier (but still a bit fragile) and started playing.

I really hope she can get some sleep tonight. I need some more sleep myself. I've had no voice for 3 days now.
