Where have the past two weeks gone? Not wasted away in idle pleasures, unfortunately. Ah well, it pays the bills.

Today we went to Magna, the science and industry museum in Rotherham. It is very good, if rather cold.

This photo is of my favourite exhibit and shows what happens when two perfectly aligned jets of water meet. The water pressure is created by columns of water and when the column on the right is filled, the jet is strong enough to start filling the column on the left, but as the columns equalise this is what happens.
