Complex Chili Cook-off

This afternoon the complex in which we are staying for another two weeks held a chili cook-off. Five teams of six members each concocted their best chili, which was then judged by those attending. Our good friends, Kathy & Ron pictured here, headed up the Route 66 Team, complete with biker outfits. They did not win but provided the only white chili in a contest of traditional reds. At the conclusion of the tasting/judging, we all got to pick up a bowl (or more) of our favorite to enjoy with cornbread and salad.
