The Darlings

I have to call them that! These were the flock of starlings today in the garden today, there's never been so many! At one point the garden was black with them & the noise was incredible, squawking, whistling, bickering... you name it - they were the sound of the day, they blocked out everything else & filled the garden with chattering & laughing. I love starlings & I'm so honoured to have them in my garden!
