Altocumulus lenticularis
These lens-shaped clouds are caused by what is termed orographic effects, in other words effects, caused by the terrain. The Harris hills stand 2700 feet tall, 30 miles south of here and lift the winds as they come in from the east. Then, they fall on the other side, giving rise to these particular cloud formations. Beautiful.
