Toad in Love....

Once there was a Toad
who fell in love with a Truck:
It was those big eyes shining
made him think he was in luck....

I tried to tell him:
"Please listen to me Toad.
This is not The Pathway To Love,
this is a busy main road."

But he was deaf to my words.
Love had swollen his Heart
and although this Love suddenly ended
he died believing it was just the start.

The brakes on Love are never serviced
by even the very best garages.)
