My grandmother - something of a heroic drinker in her time - had this phrase on the wall of her kitchen.

All of which is by way of saying that Alice had her first day of work experience with a graphic designer friend of mine. While I was dropping her off in the wonderful co-op offices where he is based I caught sight of this delightful scene.
