today i cried

i did, i sat in the car listening to RTE radio from back home and i cried. i cried for my lost childhood, the friends and family i left behin when i emigrated, the craic, the guinness, the boys in green. i cried when i thought of how i felt jealous of the 'good times' we were having after years of drudgery. i cried because i feel lucky. an taoiseach can you look your country in the eye and say that since you became finance minister and now taoiseach you have only ever looked after your countries best interests??? yes? or no? if it's yes then you really are an incredibly arrogant man if it's no then you should be in jail.
