WATCH CROW
The sight I beheld when I opened the back door to set off for work. This is one of a family of four Crows which have made our garden their own. Much to the annoyance of a neighbour who only likes the "pretty birds". I think the Crows, and indeed all birds, have their own character and place in our world, no matter what their reputation. This family have a runt who is look-out for the rest of his relations until we throw out some scraps. The runt then calls the rest of them in and they devour their breakfast. I find them quite fascinating to watch.
If Freddie (the cat) happens to be out in the garden at the time, he rolls around as if they are invisible. Personally, I think he realises he is no match for them!
