Fashion at Smith?

Driving back from my shoulder therapy, I stopped at a traffic light opposite Smith College, near the center of Northampton, and blipped this through the passenger-side window (I was alone).

The young lady took no notice of me, engrossed as she was in her phone call. Given the conspicuous stripes at her wrist, one wonders what sort of outfit she's sporting under her coat.

The newspaper dispensers are all over town, understandably, since it's very pedestrian-friendly; the two local dailies are here, on either side.
