A Fish Called Wanda
Cats are the ultimate narcissists. You can tell this
because of all the time they spend on personal grooming.
Dogs aren't like this. A dog's idea of personal grooming is
to roll in a dead fish. Dogs spend their time thinking about
doing good deeds for their masters, or sleeping.

I've been photographing, photodocumenting, the repair work of one of the historic dams at Deer Flat National Wildlife Refuge. What I've done so far is shoot photos of the dam as it is now. The work has barely begun, but eventually a section of dam will be removed and repaired. The section of dam is one of two outflow structures used to allow irrigation water through the dam and into canals that distribute the water to the agriculture fields. I'll blip some of the more interesting photos as work progresses.
This was bluegill taking a siesta on the rocks at reservoir's edge.
