noticing the details

as i become more interested in photography and sharing my work with others, i get the same resounding comment - you have such an eye for the small things, the details. although i do not like to boast, i will say that i agree. anyone can take a great photograph of something commonly known to be beautiful (a beach scene or a stunning landscape for example). but it takes a special eye to find beauty in the smaller things - the wonderful parts of life that so many people walk right past. so i open my eyes, and look in all directions, hoping to find something stunning.
