Cosy boy...
Poor wee D looks frozen here, but he was toasty warm in his new snow-jacket, hat and gloves!
A dry morning and a request from wee D to take Skye a walk in the woods meant that we headed down the street to our local 'estate' - a large expanse of woodland with lots of colour-coded walks through it, and a huge mansionhouse in the middle which was turned into flats years ago. I think the council has adopted the land though, as we had a leaflet from them about it through the letterbox a while ago.
In amongst the woodland, they've created a Japanese Garden, where this photo was taken - a couple of very modern metal Japanese-ish sculptures, a pond and lots of wee streams running off it, with a few teeny bridges to get across. Wee D LOVED the little bridges. The garden isn't very photogenic at the moment though - straggly and mucky and in need of some TLC.
I thought I had lots of good photos from our wee jaunt, but alas, it was not to be. Even this isn't great but it was the best of a bad bunch.
