Autumn has arrived

Chambers Farm Woods near Lincoln on a much colder morning in the week we are expecting Snow?!! Saw this and just loved the array of autumnal colours and the way the leaves had landed by the mushrooms. Also the decay that is just starting to set in showing the progression towards the end of the year - is that a bit too deep and meaningful? Yep - but I love this photograph which was taken around 10.30am.
