And so it begins
Can't say I was overly sure where to start. Definitely think I'd like to give more thought to my photo taking. Having been aiming a camera at my children for the past 19 years, although I don't really think I've spent a lot of that time actually thinking about how to take a photograph. Mostly I've spent my time just trying to get all the various people in frame, looking in my direction, with something of a happy expression. I've had some success, although only using a very basic digital camera, and on occasion my mobile phone (which actually has a better camera on it than the camera itself).
Then there's the blogging aspect. I've not blogged since my last episode of depression, and then it was a method of getting everything out of my head and trying to make sense of everything.
So my first photograph is quite simply of my daughters slippers. We're waiting for her first independent steps. She's quite good at "cruising", and I reckon she walks miles every day hanging onto different bits of furniture and the outside of the play pen. She's already worked out that as we have laminate floor, she needs her slippers to remain upright and practice that walking.
