After all the rain over the last 24 hours, and the rest, the fields are absolutely waterlogged and the tracks are reduced to mud, so I decided that Ollie and I would go for a walk along the road. The idea was that he would stay relatively clean and dry and then we could settle down in the sitting room for the afternoon. He had other plans and plunged into the first deep ditch, running with, obviously, that he could find! Lots of geese and ducks about, mostly wigeon at the head of the bay. I tried to get close to them, but they were for too wary!

Was going to make my Christmas pudding today, but then realised it had to stand overnight. That's a little job for tomorrow then!
