Rivelin Valley No2

I was over at Hillsborough again today, this time to take photos of new staff for their website. One of them, a GP, had a series of vertical scars on his forehead from a recent accident, so we are hoping that a combination of makeup applied by him, and airbrushing from me, will obliterate the evidence from the image!

On the way back I photographed the Rivelin Valley again, this time from Crosspool looking down across the allotments towards Stannington. There are fewer allotments now still in use, and further down the valley there is some young and fairly natural looking woodland, but which has the rather odd addition of overgrown linear hedges and ruined little brick buildings and fireplaces signifying its previous use as allotments.
