Sunrise before gridlock

We have far too many cars on our pretty little island and sometimes it grinds to a complete halt.

This sunrise was spectacularly beautiful (and before you ask, I did stop in a layby to take this photo) but my day deteriorated. The Midlands motorways were gridlocked shortly after as a result of a lorry fire and it took me 5 hours to do a 1 hour journey !
