Old fence New snow
The first snow fell last night.
Thanks to our hard working council gritters and snow ploughs, our road has been kept open and it is business s usual.
Both grannies were safely loaded onto the Princes Royal Trust for Carers bus for their day at the Thursday Club and to give us a break from caring.
They love it and come back with tales of how many games of scrabble they won, how much food they ate ( sometimes how many glassess of sherry was consumed!) and who is still living and who has died.
Such are the topics of conversation of our 91 and 80 year old mothers these days!

One of the many highlights for me yesterday was when Eve (aged 5) emerged from her Primary 1 classroom at the end of the day. The look and cries of delight when she saw me waiting to collect her brought a tear to my eye.
Another was listening to Louisa's giggles as I tickled her tummy.
We love our grandchildren
Bill has been in a great deal of pain today so is taking things a bit easier.
I'm off to country dancing tonight in the village hall
