bedtime saga

At the moment i am attempting to establish some sort of bed time routine with Zara, where, after being fed and changed in to her sleep suit, placed in her sleeping bag i read her a story, after which i give her a kiss, tell her goodnight and that i love her and settle her in to her cot.
I allow her a dummy for sleep times so i give her that and leave the room. The aim being that she will begin to recognise bed time and soon learn to be able to drop off to sleep without me having to dance with her, singing my repetoire of nursery rhymes (saving that treat for other times of the day :@) )
Its going well but i am being called in to her room a number of times first by an almighty yelp because the dummy has been flung to the other end of the cot while she unsuccessfully attempts to shove both fists in her mouth as well as the dummy.
5 yelps later, the dummy being replaced in to her mouth each time she eventually gives in, makes do with just the dummy(at least til she's asleep and then that gets thrown out) and drops off zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
