Hambledon to Turville

Parked just south of Hambledon and headed north, catching the last of the glorious early morning light. Sun soon vanished but continued through woods, going partly along Shakespeare's Way.

Eventually reached Turville and had a pint of Brakspears and a ploughmans (with pork pie) by a log fire, welcomed by the friendliest barman, muddy boots left outside. First time I've ever walked some distance for a pub lunch and it was perfect.

Suitably sustained, headed east then south through Skirmett, got some apples from a farm on the way, then back through Hambledon to the car.

Stats: 9.28 miles, 3.12 hours.
