the looming snow

Just got back from taking my horses new rugs down the field. They fit perfectly and I'm hoping they'll be a lot warmer now. It's a strange day, bit dark now but managed to take this sunset photo from the back garden. There's snow on the mountains and that snow that looks like little polystyrene bean bag balls falling every now and again. Not looking forward to a snowy winter really, while it's lovely for a lot of people, I have three horses to get through it, and the feed costs a bomb....not that they're not worth every penny of course, but my current circumstances mean they are kept quite a way from my house, I don't drive and they need feeding daily ideally in this sort of weather. Time to hunt for some grazing a bit closer to home and to plan where and when I start giving them extra food.
Not all horse owners have heaps of money sadly....they cost a lot to keep, so I never have any!

Anyway back to the photo, the sunset is beautiful this evening, and now I need a shower after my strenuous bike ride.......oooh and the blob appears to have gone from my camera!!! yaay!
