"First Snow"

As perdicted the snow arrived, not a lot, just enough to make it interesting. Put out a feeder in a remote spot to-day and cleared a space for when I return, it`s worth trying this, you`ll find if you approach quitely in a day or so, or even later that same day you could get quite a surprise, it`s much more effective if you can catch a shot which does`nt show the feeder this is`nt difficult as they continually frighten each other off it. Look for a spot where the light gets through and find some interesting tree shape and colours. Just missed a Green Woodpecker last winter using this technique, better luck this winter, maybe........
