Fresh Air and Exercise..

..is good for you.

Well, it snowed overnight and I decided to forgo the dubious thrill of getting stuck in a big traffic jam.

Walking through the middle of Durham, I witnessed a potentially very nasty accident: A bloke had got out of his car to get a shovel from the boot, and as his wife got out, the car began to slide down the hill (This is in the Bailey, the steep bit) It hit a bollard which stopped it rather abruptly. Mr & Mrs then began a blazing row.. (I was wondering whether to blip the scene.. decided not to..) then I realised if this had all happened about one minute earlier, it would have knocked me down and squished me. Yoiks!

Anyway, I got to work in time, tho I was so warm from walking all the way up the final hill that I thought I would melt.

This is just the view on my walk back home again. Not a spectacular shot, I know. But I am happy that I remembered to take the camera with me and use it.

And now, I am going to have a soak in a very deep, hot bath..
