Red sky in the morning....

This was the sun this morning.

It was about 9.30am. Road to work was blocked so took my wee ladies to school with Daisyglaisy before attempting the trip after yesterdays nonsense.(see yesterdays blip).

Spotted the sun coming through the snow and it was more red than this with a rainbow effect round the sun. This didn't come out on the pix but looks pretty cool anyway. Def a wee capture of a good moment.

So, made it into work, did a pile of paperwork as it school was closed to kids, caught up with chats about kids and issues they have. This gave us a chance to come up with tiny strategies to deal with the issues and I feel refreshed due to that.
Things have been so busy, what with threats of budget and staff and service cuts recently that folk have, unconsciously,been retreating into their shells. I have to say I'm as guilty as anyone for that.
BBut today, a bit of a struggle to get in did us all good. Got us talking about our tricky journeys which then naturally meant it was easier to talk about our concerns for our pupils/keykids.

I like days like today, they come as a surprise. And even though the kids weren't in, it's probably done them more good in the short term than any of us realise or could measure.
