Marlborough Rock Daisy
When we moved into our current office space three years ago there was no landscaping. A lawn, but no plants, no flowers, no nothing.
I installed a watering system and planted a number of natives - mountain flax, five finger, hebes, tussocks, and Marlborough rock daisies (Pachystegia insignis), to name a few. Most of them are gown up now, and many of them are flowering given that it is early summer.
Native birds such as the waxeye are also now attracted. It's simply fantastic to see the transition (even on this very small scale) within an urban environment.
