An ingin an' aw....
....my day started with a lesson for a Welsh colleague and our Spanish barista in the Scots vernacular; I was looking for some onion too.
I then sallied forth for a haircut and a new pair of Church Pews as my current pair have suffered from a heal collapse. All this superficial grooming was necessary because I was chumming our sales chaps to a meeting with a prospective client. Frankly I was looking like I'd been pulled through a hedge backwards and needed some re-grooming.
Sales pitch over (and feeling slightly cheap and dirty) I collected Nancy from The Faculty and her brain doctoring, and deposited her at Hanover Street for an evening of viticulture study with her chum Shada.
Owen made tea for us; recipie as follows:
3 roughly chopped spring onions
1 packet of dried noodles
1 vegetable oxo cube
Boiling water
Interesting, in a plain sort of way, but we scoffed it nevertheless.
Later, Edwards' Eye popped round for a wag of chins and a sampling of Scottish and Deutsche wheat bears......interesting to note that the Stewart's was superior in every way to my previous favourite Shofferhoffer.
Busy but interesting day. Managing to hold on.
