Getting to know Jack

Jack is 3 days old today. He was moved from the hospital he was born at to a hospital with a more advanced neonatal intensive care unit. This hospital was a half hour from where we lived. Jack was taken by ambulance to the new hospital, which was probably the hardest thing in the world to me. How could they take him away when I was still at the original hospital. I checked myself out a few days early to be there with him.

This is Daddy and big sisters Alyssa and Sydney. This was the first time my stepdaughters could actually get near Jack, at the other hospital, they could only see him through the glass into the nursery.
